ABOUT KHUD AAGAHI
Therapy and counselling, rooted in self-awareness
Khud Aagahi means self-awareness, and that is where my work begins. Whether you come for therapy, counselling, support as a parent, or a psychological assessment, the starting point is the same: understanding yourself, your patterns, and the strengths you already carry, often without realising it. Most people arrive feeling stuck, but not empty. You have coped, adapted, and kept going in ways you have never given yourself credit for.
What Khud Aagahi is built on
Awareness first
It starts with understanding you, your patterns, and the strengths you may not yet see in yourself.
Strengths, not labels
Support builds on what is already helping you cope, in how you communicate and handle pressure.
Facing what is hard
I help you build the strength to cope, decide, and grow, so you can face things with support alongside you.
A strengths-based approach
Most support starts with what is wrong. Mine starts with you. I work in a strengths-based way, which means I begin by noticing what is already helping you cope, and build on it. Part of that is helping you become aware of abilities you have never fully used, in how you communicate, how you handle pressure, and how you relate to the people around you. When you can see your own strengths clearly, hard things become more possible to face, and you are better able to fight your own battles instead of feeling at their mercy.
The order matters. Awareness first, then support. My aim is not to keep you in therapy, but to help you understand yourself well enough to cope, decide, and grow, with someone alongside you while you do.
“Awareness first, then support.”
